What would your Playbus do?

Children's bus

Sparky has finally reached the finish line on her raffle giveaway.

It certainly has been quite a summer for the bus picture books.

This year with lockdown, school closures and cancelled events, it looked like it would be a quiet time. So, I have let the books escape one at a time on the raffle road. Hopefully they have been bringing a little bit of fun to young readers.

With each book I have asked different questions, with Sparky I asked the question:

What would your perfect Playbus be used for?

The answers certainly seemed to have a book theme and I’m sure the bus stories would be perfect to read on a bus.

Deborah suggested ‘story-time and imaginative play.’ ( A Playbus) Once upon a story-time

Jacey thought, ‘taking children on adventures like visiting a library.’ (Library visits)

Pam said, ‘reading book sessions.’ (Reading)

Nancy wanted,A book bus ‘Educational entertainment.’ (School visits)

Ritu said, ‘A mobile nook to encourage children to read.’ (A bus to read on) Bookbus

There certainly are a few schools which have a static book bus.

Shaw's Primary School BusPerhaps you know of one near you?

Watch out for the next book, 'A Spooky Tale', to head off on the raffle road in September.
