Where did the Lego minifigures go? Fiestas and celebrations.

Lego Mini-figures
Moors and Christians

When I visit Spain in June I go to join in with the local Fiesta for the 'Moors and Christians.

Moors and ChristiansIn 2015, I took two little mini-figures to enjoy the views too.

The little village of Moraira always welcomes its visitors.

The Fiesta is the Moors and Christians and starts over a weeks celebrations leading up to the Grand Parade on the Sunday.

In 2015 my two Lego mini-figures reflected the two groups. Which one would you choose?Flower Parade

It is fun to join in and watch and it reminded me of the fun that our Playbus had getting ready for our local carnival.

Dressing up, decorating the bus, but most of all joining in.

Sadly our local carnival is no more but the story book holds a few memories.

I don't think a double-decker bus would fit through the tiny streets of Moraira, so instead the story book is in their local library.

This year there will sadly be no Fiesta in Moraira due to the 'lockdown ' and coronavirus,. so lets hope that next year it will better and we can get back on the road again.

I will be giving away a copy of my children's story book,  'Jay-Jay and Carnival', so don't forget to check back here for more news and to hear about more giveaways.

Good Luck.
