My Aunt Vera initially moved over to Spain in the 1970's, to a place called Javea (Xabia Blanca).

A trip to Spain to see 'The Moors and Christians' Fiesta.

But first the weather decided to put on a show of its own!

My aunt Vera introduced me to Spain in 1974 when she and her husband bought a place in Javea.to retire.

Over the years with my family, we visited the area many times.

When I visit Spain in June I go to join in with the local Fiesta for the 'Moors and Christians.

 Each year on my visits to Spain I take a Lego model with me to enjoy the view.
