This story is based on a real bus which visited towns and villages all over Scotland. The bus journey took it to a remote island on the Shetland Isles where it had to travel by ferry.
The ferry was small and the bus was much bigger than a car!
Having read the first book to children in many schools they would ask, "Is he going to go on any more adventures?"
The second book has finally reached the island and more adventures are planned!
A bus can be an exciting place to travel or even to play on.
It can come to the children full of fun and adventure.
"We wish it was still here," the children comment.
So even if only in book form, the bus does indeed still exist!
