Where did the road take Daisy Daydream?

For lockdown 2020, each of my children’s picture books were escaping with a raffle giveaway.

In June it was the turn of ‘Daisy Daydream the Nursery Rhyme Bus’.

In lockdown the one thing I was missing, was not being able to visit children in schools and to share a story or two.

I decided to send each bus off on the raffle road instead.

Perhaps the books might reach a few children offering a picture book to share with activities to do too.

In June 2020 Daisy joined in with the Indie author Week Festival to offer her raffle prize.

Indie Author Week has occured in June but although, I have tried to join in I am usually away in Spain for the ‘Moors and Christians’ Fiesta in Moraira.(Sonriendo)

I have however, managed to join in from a distance by sharing my stories in local schools and libraries in both Teulada and Moraira itself. Reading in Spain

Fiesta boysIn 2020 the Fiesta was cancelled and travel restrictions were in place.

I would not be able to watch the blunderbuss firing on the seafront, nor the processions passing by.

I had hoped 2021 would see a return but once again everything was cancelled.

Hopefully I can return next year. Who knows? Fiesta girls

I know it’ not the same but my Lego Big Ben model will be my little piece of England there instead.
