For lockdown 2020, each of my children’s picture books have been escaping with a raffle giveaway.

This time it is the turn of ‘Daisy Daydream the Nursery Rhyme Bus’, together with her 3D bus model.

The one thing I am missing, as a teacher, is not being able to visit children in schools and to share a story or two. Together, with author bookings and visits, on hold, I decided to send each bus off on the raffle road instead.

With children locked down at home maybe they might like a picture book to share with activities to do.

So far each of the three Jay-Jay, books have headed off on their journeys asking a few questions along the way.

What would you name your Playbus?

‘What character would you dress up as for a carnival parade? Dressing up

Daisy would love to see your bus designs.

Why not have a go and draw your own.

The new book, ‘Gloria the Summer fun Bus’, is ready for her blog tour launch in July.

So that has left June for Daisy.

With the Indie author Week Festival in June I decided to schedule her raffle to coincide with that date and join in too. Her raffle timetable will be 12th – 22nd June.

Enter to win a book and activities.

In the past, I have tried to join but I am usually away in Spain for the ‘Moors and Christians’ Fiesta in Moraira.(Sonriendo)

I have however, managed to join in from a distance by sharing my stories in local schools and libraries in both Teulada and Moraira itself. Reading in Spain

Fiesta boysThis year I may not be able to watch the blunderbuss firing on the seafront, nor the processions passing by but hopefully I can return next year. Who knows? Fiesta girls

I know it’ not the same but my Lego Big Ben model will be my little piece of England there instead.
