As a supply cover teacher, the one thing you might miss out on is being involved in events such as any charity school events; these include Children in Need; Comic Relief/Red Nose Day; Christmas Productions; Non-uniform days; School Fairs.

These were always things I loved being able to join in with and sometimes I do feel left out.

So, what a lovely day today would be, a two-day booking would take me into a school for Friday where the school would be raising money for CIN.

Knowing in advance, even if I did not dress up, I was able not only to take in my Pudsey Bear but also my Lego Pudsey. (Perfect for the 'Lego Lady'.)Lego Pudsey

All of the children had made a great effort and there was quite a range of Pudsey outfits. With bought and hand made dress, there was certainly a lot of spots about. Despite the excitement of the day the children were very thoughtful and it was great to be involved, even if on the fringes of involvement. I felt welcomed and glad to be a part of the day.

Pudsey Bear and Lego friendDuring assembly the star of the day took in my Pudsey and Lego Pudsey went too.

I was glad that today I got to join in and help such a worthwhile cause.

Back in 2007 the children in my school had suggested we make and sell badges for Children in Need, (also perfect for the 'Badge Lady') and today Pudsey Bear wore his badge for me.Badge CIN 2007

The Playbus once applied and received funding for CIN to part-fund a summer holiday playscheme around our town, (1992)
