The old Tudor House in the High Street of East Grinstead is a haven for book lovers.
On Saturday 8th July 2017 ‘Jay-Jay and His Island Adventure’ had its official book launch. What a great venue to celebrate this second Jay-Jay bus story book.
The Book Shop, or the ‘Boo Shop’ as it is sometimes referred to, certainly is a surprising place stuffed full to the brim with books old, new and second hand.
A place to sit and browse;
Stop for a cup of tea or coffee;
Chat with the friendly staff;
Or even play a game of chess.
With their knowledge and enthusiasm for books this makes this a great place to visit.
A place to find that different book to read! (Look out for Jay-Jay too.)
As a self-published Indie author it is always good to receive support and understanding.
So with books and information Jay-Jay was ready to greet the people who came along to buy the books.
Jay-Jay’s story will continue with bookings for story-telling, badge-making and author visits in libraries, schools and even transport museums.
With a new, and different, book hopefully coming out in the autumn together with a further Jay-Jay bus story book planned for 2018, the writing journey looks set to continue.
