Sue Wickstead

A work of the heart.

My name is Sue Wickstead: I live in West Sussex.

I write children’s picture story books inspired by my adventures with a Playbus as well as my experiences as a teacher.

The Playbus was a double-decker bus full of toys, arts and crafts and was a lot of fun for children to play on.

Writing a photographic history book about the Playbus encouraged me to try fiction writing.

As a primary teacher I can engage and inspire children with their reading and writing.

I love to promote reading for pleasure and develop a love of books, words and stories. I live in Crawley, West Sussex.
